Kanbayashi Shunsho is a prestigious tea house in Uji, Japan, with a rich history spanning over 450 years. The family’s involvement in the tea industry dates back to the Eiroku era (around 1560) when the first generation, Kamon no Jo Hisashige, moved to Uji from Kanbayashi Township in Tanba.
